China Space Day Xichang Satellite Launch Center prepares for

Today (24th) is the seventh China Aerospace Day in China, and various celebrations are held across the country. The spacemen of Xichang Satellite Launch Center will spend this festival on their posts today.
 

In April, Xichang was surrounded by a sea of flowers, and astronauts working at the Xichang launch site were bustling with enthusiasm. Nine days ago, they had just successfully launched the Zhongxing 6D satellite and quickly put it into preparation for the next mission.
 

Wang Zhong, Deputy Director of the Planning Department of the Xichang Satellite Launch Center: This year, the parallel test of multiple satellites and multiple arrows at the Xichang launch site of the center is still normal. Since May, we will launch missions twice a month on average. Later, we will carefully prepare, organize, and implement to ensure that the high-density missions have won consecutive battles and won all battles.
 

When we entered Wenchang launch site, the sea and sky were blue, and the coconut wind was blowing. The scientific and technological workers were fully preparing for the upcoming launch mission of the Tianzhou 4 Cargo spacecraft. At present, the Long March 7 rocket and the Tianzhou 4 Cargo spacecraft are carrying out the final assembly and Test effort in the launch site area as planned.
 

Chen Rijun, Task Dispatcher of the Wenchang Launch Site Planning Office: Since the successful go-around of the Long March 5 Yaosan rocket in 2019, our Wenchang Space Launch Site has entered a high-density mission period, and working during holidays has become the norm. On this special day of Space Day, fighting hard and fulfilling our duties in our positions is the most meaningful way for us to celebrate.
 

Tianzhou 4 Cargo spacecraft launch mission 01 commander Wang Yuliang: At present, the Tianzhou 4 Cargo spacecraft launch mission has entered the final sprint preparation stage, and all testing and launch preparations have been carried out in an orderly manner. We will be careful, meticulous, and improve to ensure the success of the Tianzhou 4 mission.
 

Space exploration is endless, and the journey of pursuing dreams has a long way to go. In the face of the test of this year's high-density space launch mission, Xichang Satellite Launch Center has made a scientific overall plan and strictly organized the implementation to ensure that the launch mission is foolproof.

Later, Tianzhou 4 and V Cargo spacecraft, as well as Wentian and Mengtian module, will be launched from our Wenchang space launch site. The mission is like a mountain, and the responsibility is great. We will strengthen our mission responsibility, be brave in innovation and breakthroughs, and comprehensively enhance our modern space launch capabilities.
